Job DescriptionRole SummaryThe GIA Data Analyst plays a key role in delivering data analytics to support Audits, to monitor existing risks in Experian, and to provide reporting to senior stakeholders. The Data Analyst will have to understand, extract, and transform data from a variety of different systems before coding data analytics tests. They will also be responsible for creating visualizations of the analytics to produce impactful representations of the insight obtained by Data Analytics.Key ResponsibilitiesBuilding scripts and data analytics queries to support the Internal Audit functionCollaborate closely with colleagues from across Global Internal Audit to plan and deliver data analyticsDevelopment of data visualization solutions / dashboards based on input from the audit teamsMap out systems and data sets in the data analytics library for reference and future workTransfer appropriate knowledge to the Internal Audit team in relation to data, systems and data analytics queriesQualificationsKnowledge, Skills and ExperienceExtensive proven experience with at least one data analytics tool (e.g. Alteryx, SAS, Python)Proven experience with at least one BI / visualization tool (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)Internal Audit experience beneficialExtensive proven experience of delivering high quality data analyticsStrong communication skillsQualificationsDegree in subject with high technical contentWhat you'll bringRole adds value to Global Internal Audit North America engagement planning and fieldwork, providing greater assurance to the business that business risk are being managed appropriately through full population testing.Additional InformationThis is a permanent home-based role in Costa Rica.
