We’re looking for an inspired, motivated and experienced Senior Email Developer (SED) to join our team. We want this person to design and write code to build responsive email designs. You’ll be working with high-energy, multi-disciplinary teams that produce exciting work! The also works independently, assuming ownership for the design and programming required. S/he handles code very well and develops responsive email by relying on existing designs.
Experience has taught you what works. With your extensive knowledge you will:
Create Banners Ad using GSAP, CSS3 and HTML5, Animate, GWD
Propose solutions and provide estimations on projects
Work with the design team, tech leads and PMs
Develop mobile-compatible advertisements and banners
Coach and support other Email Developers in fulfill their tasks and improving their skills
Ensure that implementation matches the design, including syncing
Create JavaScript animations (basic to complex level) using library animations (eg. Greensock, CreateJS, etc.)
Implement HTML5 banners using code or timeline.
Customize HTML, CSS, and JS code generated by various tools (eg. Adobe Animate, GWD, GSAP, etc.)
Optimize HTML, CSS, and JS code to achieve maximum performance with minimum size
Ensure browser compatibility
Willing to work overtime and research online marketing resolutions
Being aware and having a proactive, mindful “eye” to problem identification and mitigation (associated with execution of HTML Email Campaigns); capable and confident problem-solving skills;
Using the following programs Excel, Good Docs, Adobe Creative Suite, MailChimp, HTML/CSS Skills
What are we looking for? Besides a great attitude…
You must have:
At least 3 years of email specific development experience
5 or more years of software development experience
Fluency in English (B2 in reading, writing, and conversational)
Experience in digital development skills, such as: landing pages, banners, etc.
Experience developing in HTML and CSS
Hands-on QA experience utilizing Litmus or similar
Knowledge of ad publishers (e.g. Salesforce, Engage)
Proven experience with modern web standards and cross-browser compatibility issues
Experience with front end, JavaScript and frameworks
Ability to work with IDEs (Sublime Text or Visual Studio Code is required)
Knowledge of pre-processed CSS styling (SASS, LESS)
Experience working with mobile and web email templates
Experience working with version control systems (e.g. GitHub o Bitbucket)
It’d be great if you also have:
A digital portfolio covering dynamic email samples
A bachelor’s in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
Exposure to JavaScript and CMS (eg: Drupal and/or WordPress)
Experience in graphic design for web, Photoshop, and Illustrator is a strong plus
Knowledge in W3C Standards
