About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Production Planner to join the Electrophysiology and Cardiovascular teams in Heredia.
Youre Responsibilities Include
:Directs and coordinates activities concerned with production planning of company product(s), utilizing knowledge of product mix, production methods, and procedures. Also, establishes the right sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to build plan or customer orders.
:Able to manage Sales and Operation information, build plan and forecasts. Analytical skills to prepare revenue projections, inventory targets and schedule adherence.
:Review of master production schedules to determine possible shortages, evaluation of potential improvements in economic order quantities to gain total supply chain improvements, and ensuring material availability.
:Support plant initiatives through the involvement of activities/functions outside of production planning, i.e., Operational Excellence initiatives.
:Plan the production schedule for the manufacturing floor taking into consideration line capacity, raw material inventory levels, customer order requirements and best production order sequence.
:Develop and implement master production schedules utilizing MRP techniques and software capabilities, i.e., SAP and Kinaxis Rapid Response.
:Coordinate and lead regular meetings to ensure the execution of actual production against the plan, i.e., Scheduling adherence meeting.
:Monitor min/max levels in Distribution Centers to ensure acceptable lead times for standard products.
:Coordinate with purchasing, production, stockroom, and manufacturing personnel to ensure schedule adherence and mix of the production plan.
:Drive innovation in our planning schedule and leveling using Heijunka.
What were looking for
:BS/BA degree in Industrial Engineering or Business, or a BS/BA in another field with related scheduling or project management experience.
:Eight years of relevant experience preferred with strong industrial engineering, project management or business background.
:English level: 80:89
