Senior Python Full Stack Developer

Senior Python Developer, who will work with a team of engineers building and maintaining client’s web application. Based in San Jose, Costa Rica or Medellín, Colombia, this is a key role within our client’s engineering team, requiring extensive Python development experience.The environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm and determination.

Technical Requirements
• Required English Level: Upper intermediate to advanced
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of development experience
• 3+ years of Python development experience
• 1+ years of backend development experience using Python with a backend framework like Flask or Django; Flask preferred
• Application design experience
• Experience with backend workflow and/or queuing frameworks; Airflow preferred
• Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills to interact with Agile team members

Bonus Skills
• Experience with backend development with Kotlin is a huge plus
• Experience with Apache Airflow is a big plus
• Experience with SendGrid is a big plus
• Experience with Twilio is a big plus
• Experience with migration from Python 2 to 3
• Experience with React/Redux
