We're seeking a skilled full-stack engineer to join our LATAM team at Tech9! You'll play a key role in a large-scale project converting our codebase from Kotlin to Scala. Main Responsibilities: Collaborate with engineers and product managers to design, develop, and implement features across the full-stack. Deep dive into the existing Kotlin codebase and translate it efficiently into idiomatic Scala. Break down complex problems into manageable tasks and execute solutions effectively. Participate in daily standups and actively contribute to a transparent and collaborative Scrum team environment. Clearly communicate technical concepts to both internal and external stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications: Excellent professional hands-on experience with full-stack development (minimum of 4+ years) 2+ years of hands-on development using Scala Solid understanding of functional programming concepts A strong track record of working in Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical audiences. The ability to think critically, analyze situations, and propose well-considered solutions. A passion for clean code, maintainability, and best practices.
