Responsibilities
Focuson optimizing end to end ML platformincludingcompute, I/O, andstorage.
Definevarious performancebenchmarks andidentifybottlenecksand areas foroptimizations.
Be an expert in performanceoptimizationfrom hardware layertoserverlevelcomponents of the framework.
Collaborate withresearch,architects,andproduct managementtodefineandestablishproductimprovements.
Explore and research new and emergingMLtechnologiesfor optimizationsand bring them tothe AdobeSensei platform.
Write and review technical documents, including requirements and design documents for existing and continuously evolving features of theAdobeSensei platform.
What you need to succeed
MS/PhDin Computer Scienceor related field
5+ years of industry experience inperformanceanalysis andoptimization
Strong backgroundin analyzing and benchmarkingone or more following areas:large scale distributed systems,cloud applications, microservices, REST APIs etc.
Strongunderstandingofparallelcomputing(GPU/CPU),operating systems, and systems concepts like process management,file systems,memory, network storageetc.
Experience inone or moremachine learning frameworkseg:– Pytorch,Scikit, MLPack, Tensorflow, SparkMLib.
Understanding of state-of-the-artmachinelearningand deep learning processes, tools and pipelines.
Understanding ofone or more parallel programming interfaces such as CUDA or OpenCL
Hands onexperienceinC++,Javaand/orpython
Strong leadershipwithproficientverbal andwrittencommunicationskills.
