Software Engineer Back End Developer - Node.Js, .Net, Java, Streaming Services..

Near Coding is looking for a Back-end Software Developer with experience in streaming services to join our development team.

Location: Remote but only available for Costa Rican residents. Schedule meetings might be conducted when needed.
Interview: Phone & Skype Video. Screen Sharing.
Visa Status: Able to work in Costa Rica

Must have skills:

1. Proven knowledge in using streaming services. If you know any of the following, we would like to speak with you!:
- WebRTC, RTMP, RTSP, FLV, HLS, VOD, Adaptative Bitrate, NDI.
- Any of the following is very desirable: Wowza Streaming Server, ANT Media Server, Red5, OS/SRS, Black Magic video cards, Azure Streaming Services. Any similar software is acceptable.
- Hands-on experience in using software to deliver multimedia to any devices, conference room software. It must be experience in using live media streaming.

a. Must be proficient in Server-Side scripting. Client side development is not within the scope of the position, we need someone with experience in corporate grade backend development.
b. , Sequelize, GraphQL, PM2, hands-on experience is desired.
c. Browser independent testing .

C# (must have experience with C# +)
a. .NET Core is a plus
b. Web API is a plus
c. MVC 5+ is a plus
d. Unit Testing is a plus

- Or - Java (Java JDK +10)
a. Web development experience is a must
b. Maven, Spring MVC, JSF, Wicket, GWT
c. API development using Java is a plus
d. Unit testing is a plus

5. SQL
a. Must be proficient at using Microsoft SQL Server
b. Must be able to write CRUD stored procedures
c. Must be able to write triggers
d. Must be able to optimize queries

6. Git. Obligatory.

7. Agile/Scrum Experience
a. 1-2 Week Sprints
b. User Stories

8. Linux
a. Nginx, Apache
b. Used to work with the industry standard package managers
c. Used to work with terminal commands

9. Advanced English Skills.

Nice to have skills:

1. Web server management
2. Mobile development, Windows Mobile is preferred
3. SQL server management
4. JIRA
