Organization & RoleThe Software Engineering team in Costa Rica is looking for a Software Engineer passionate about learning, developing high-quality software, solving complex problems, and becoming part of a bright and innovative team. Can you balance various tasks related to requirements definition, software system design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance? This role has some hybrid flexibility; however, the candidate must be able to work on-site at our office in the Coyol Free Zone in Alajuela. Responsibilities Design, implement, test, and deploy software components for Teradyne's family of Automatic Test Equipment. Create robust designs focusing on scalability, high performance, and maintainability. Work with software verification engineers to devise, document, and execute effective test strategies and plans. Conceive and implement fully functional and high-performing software solutions. Tackle complex problems and come up with innovative software solutions. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to improve our product, our process, and our team. Basic Qualifications & Skills Able to clearly express your ideas and concepts both written and verbally. Driven to get the job done and are not afraid to commit and go above and beyond to do it. Experience with C++, C# and .NET development Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms and operating systems (Windows, Linux) Experience with development tools: Visual Studio, Clearcase/Git Experience with Development Lifecycles, including Agile. Some background in Hardware is a plus. Co-op or internship experience a plus Education BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Relevant internship or practical software development experience preferable Don't undervalue your potential!
