Software Engineer

Execute on all features and drive the full software development life cycle (SDLC)- Document all aspects including but not limited to flow diagrams, architecture and configurations- Ensure that all code is robust, scalable, of the highest quality, testable and secure- Actively participate in requirements discussions as well as take an active role in user feedback solicitation and support activities- Engage with other engineering teams across Data Solutions and Moody's to assist in the onboarding of new datasets into the platform- Collaborate with our global operations team to ensure all technical issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner- Actively participate and support the local recruiting, hiring, and management for this new team of engineers and help to build the foundation for the additional teams we will look to build out in Costa Rica.**Qualifications**:- BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field- Experience with API and routing systems like AWS Gateway or Kong- Working knowledge and experience working in public cloud, specifically but not limited to AWS- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams using Jira- Experience developing using test driven concepts and patterns- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact and collaborate across time zones and geographies#LI-CBPLI-HybridData SolutionsMoody's is an equal opportunity employer.
