Job Sumarry As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with the development team to assess software code, design, and functionality, identifying potential issues and implementing appropriate testing methodologies. You will be responsible for executing test cases, analyzing results, and providing valuable feedback to improve the software's overall quality. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the successful delivery of high-performing, robust, and user-friendly software solutions.Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and applications engineers, to understand software requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test programs to ensure proper functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications. Conduct various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and usability testing, using both manual and automated testing techniques. Identify, document, and track software defects, anomalies, and issues using bug tracking systems, and work closely with the development team to resolve them. Perform root cause analysis of issues encountered during testing and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, including recommendations for improvements. Develop and maintain test data, test environments, and test tools to support efficient and effective testing processes. Collaborate with the development team to enhance testability, suggest improvements in software design, and promote best practices for software quality assurance. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in software testing methodologies, and apply this knowledge to enhance testing practices within the organization. Basic Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience working in semiconductor related industry. Proven experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Tester, or a similar role, with a strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies. Strong C++ Object Oriented programming skills. Familiarity with MS Visual Studio and tools such as GIT, Gitlab and Jenkins. Experience with various testing techniques and methodologies, such as black-box testing, white-box testing, and regression testing. Knowledge of software quality assurance principles, practices, and industry standards. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions. Professional certifications related to software quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester) are a plus.
