Sourcing Analyst

**Position SummaryAs the Sourcing Analyst, your primary objective is to execute sourcing initiatives that enable Emerson to procure goods and services at the best overall cost of ownership and highest quality. Responsible for assisting the sourcing team in providing sourcing support and enablement to include request for information/proposal/quote/bid execution, award scenario analysis, negotiation support, and sourcing pipeline management. Utilize Ariba, Oracle and other procurement systems to execute sourcing.**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**Sourcing Support**- Execute necessary RFx to include requests for information, proposals, quotes, and bids to support the category management team- Conduct award scenario analysis to supplement the category management and analytics teams' decision-making- Provide insights to the sourcing and category management teams regarding negotiations and potential improvements to future negotiations during sourcing events**Sourcing Project Management**- Assist the sourcing team in planning end to end sourcing events and following execution to ensure timely completion- Conduct necessary sourcing requirements and report potential timeline and resource adjustments to the Sourcing Supervisor**Sourcing Enablement**- Assist in building the RFx tools and templates for sourcing execution- Perform digital sourcing requirements and events in Oracle and other procurement systems**Additional Position Information/Details**Education**- **Requirement**:Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Operations, or similar- **Preference**:Advanced course/ Master's Degree and/or professional certifications in Procurement, Technology, Strategy, and/or Project management**Skills and Experience**- **Requirement**:2+ years of experience in procurement operations, global sourcing, supplier management, commodity risk management, strategic planning, budgeting and financial reporting etc.- **Preference**:3+ years of experience in pertinent category**Desired Certificates, Licenses, Registrations**- N/A**Korn Ferry Competencies**- Manages Complexity- Drives Results- Interpersonal Savvy- Instills Trust- Self-Development- Resilient
