**Role Summary**:Provide assistance with financial information by researching, reconciling, and analyzing account balances. Prepare journal entries and financial reports in accordance with international accounting standards. Responsible for payroll processing and related reporting. Generate accurate and timely financial information. Maintain effective internal controls to ensure accurate reporting of financial results. Provide accurate and timely information to support closing. Assist in development of accounting policies and procedures and monitor compliance of these. Support and participate in internal and external audits. This role has key interfaces with External and all Internal Customers.**Main Responsibilities and Tasks**:- Accountable for month end closing process which includes reviewing, documenting, and reconciling all financial transactions for the period and is a two-day process.- Preparation of timely and accurate management information including accounts, forecasts, and other reporting requirements with supporting narrative.- Timely preparation of Month end, quarter end, and year end close activities and account reconciliations as assigned.- Support Balance sheet review commentary and supporting documentation.- Oversee mandatory tax reporting, account reconciliation, review, reconcile and update tax rates, accruals, and data in IFS.- Assist Controller with yearly tax reporting.- Support internal and external audit requirements.- Responsible for Cash Application and processing accounts payable.- Accountable for payroll processing including compliance. Generate and review timecards, attendance records deductions.
