**Position Summary**:The Sr. Accounting Analyst play an important role for the Record to Report department, since the main objective is to process general high complex and critical accounting activities. This role requires highanalytical skills, specialized training and decision making in situations with high complexity.**Main Responsibilities**- Perform accounting activities such as general ledger, intercompany and fixed assets for the month end close process.- Ensure that all reconciliation information is entered into the system, with its proper support to give visibility to the movements that were made during the month. Reconcile the most complex and/orcritical balance sheet accounts.- Analyze accounting information in order to resolve discrepancies that may arise and identify the root cause to avoid similar situations.- Ensure that all accounting entries registered in the system are approved by the supervisor and have proper supporting documentation.- Provide management support by coordinating key calls and meetings required for the business.- Capture key meeting risks, actions, issues and decisions to communicate to management team.- Review and approve team tasks as reconciliations, manual journal entries, reports, ad hoc requests from external and internal customers and other calculations.- Proactively handle the follow-up process related to any open risks, issues, actions, and decisions (RAID)- Support weekly and monthly reporting cadence and ad-hoc reports - including exec level reports & presentations.- Prepares and consolidates the Hyperion Reporting process.- Monitor all accounting activities in the month-end close, and ensure they are completed in the stipulated time.- Lead the process of internal and external audits, maintaining the controls of the complete and correct operating procedures, as well as serving as a point of contact to provide the information requested by the auditors.- Provides customer service by answering and resolving disputes and ad-hoc questions that require highly complex investigation; collaborates with stakeholders to escalate inquiries and providesprocess updates to leadership team; negotiation and dispute resolution; analyzes, interprets and consolidates reports for stakeholders' review; and coordinates communication between thestakeholders and the accounting area.- Follow up on existing cases that are presented and make the correct resolution following the established guidelines.- Implement methods to standardize operations, through the creation of performance metrics that seek to ensure that general accounting tasks are accomplished with precision, quality, and success.- Support supervisors and management in the implementation of established strategies and guidelines.- Participate in strategies at the organizational level that promotes the continuous improvement of the Shared Service Center- Provide support to teammates in complex situations as an SME.- Provide support and any other request that is required by the company's needs.**Basic Requirements**- Bachelor's degree related with the position or 7+ years of experience in similar positions.- Shared Service Centers experience.- B2+ English Level.- MS Office: Word, Power Point, Outlook - Excel intermediate/advance.- ERPs experience (Oracle, SAP, JDEdwards, Mainframe).- Experience in Backline or Hyperion (plus).- Experience in bank platforms (plus).- Experience in SOX Compliance (plus).**Competencies**- Put the customer first.- Own your results.- Find a better way every day.- Attention to details.- Presentation skills.- Proactiveness.- Prioritization.- Drives engagement.- Communicates effectively.- Stakeholder management.- Leadership skills.- Drive to results.- Project Management.
