Come join us.In summary, as the Sr. Customer Service Advisor, you will be:Order Management - Manage the day-to-day relationships and orders for identified customer accounts, ensuring proficient and knowledgeable customer service is provided with a sense of integrity and trust. Must have good working product knowledge and may suggest alternate or compatible products to customers as needed. Manage any issues that may arise in a timely manner towards resolution, including alternate escalation protocols and fee negotiation. Ownership of a "streamlined process" such as returns or master data management as required. Provide regular feedback and pro-active communication to the customer and/or sales regarding the status of the accounts. Effectively and pro-actively manage order blocks. Perform all job duties by following required company and/or department processes in handling customer orders, issues, product returns, complaints, quotes, documentation requests, same-day order entry and data maintenance. Contribute to the defined group goal for "Delivery Blocks" for your work group.Relationship Management - Work closely with manufacturing, logistics, credit, supply chain, technical, commercial, pricing and other key stakeholders to insure timely and accurate order processing and delivery in accordance with customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities, and respond to internal and external issues, product returns, and complaints, following any issues through to completion with a sense of urgency. May have assigned customer accounts or manage spot deals for inside sales activity, which may involve order solicitation, price negotiation and systems entry, and some travel to meet with customers.Employee Development - Develop product knowledge, service offerings, processes, back-up procedures, and industry conditions to enhance service and sales to the customers through personal training, individual inquiry, and development plans. Serve as a mentor to new and struggling employees. Ability to identify areas of continued learning and the desire for self-development is required. Complete company required training programs.Required QualificationsEducationA high school diploma or equivalent in a Technical / Business or related field with 2+ years related experience. An associate degree or higher in a Technical / Business or related field with 6+ months related experience is preferred.Experiences- 2+ years related experience.Skills & Knowledge- Strong Excel, SAP, and overall systems capabilities preferred.- Strong customer facing experience and roles preferred.- Ability to create networks and get things done when others can't.- Ability to make good decisions quickly and learn from past experiences.- Proven ability to work with external customers to deescalate issues that arise and ensure ease of doing business for both Huntsman and the customer.Huntsman is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
