This role is a key, hands-on position responsible to support the Fixed Asset financials for Costa Rica Manufacturing operations, with constant interactions with Operations and Technical Innovations Group. Responsible for the preparation and reporting consolidation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, supporting the Long-Range Strategic Planning process, analyzing actual results, and supporting management decision-making for the Costa Rica Manufacturing Site. The role will also manage creation of financial reports out of the EPM system and changes related to reporting, standardizations, and coordination of continuous improvements strategies. The position is based in Costa Rica; supports and reports to the Finance Site controller and Regional Manager. This person will support the work across the Manufacturing Sites, to analyses of Fixed Asset, Capital Investment, Capitalizations, Closing Activities, Forecast and Budget process, related expenditures, and implement process improvements.  Deliver insightful information through data and analytics on a consistent and standardized basis to enhance management decision making.  Responsible for the timely and accurate processing and analyzing of data related to Fixed Assets Support the annual budget process and quarterly forecast preparation, in accordance with CV timelines.  Own and operate the Fixed Asset Register processes and reporting. PROCOMER compliance and knowledge Perform monthly JE related to Fixed Asset activities.  Complete or co-ordinate the processing Month-End transactions such as, Depreciation, Impairments, Additions, Disposals, Inter-company Transfers in line with Company Policy, US GAAP, and local GAAP rules. Perform Fixed Asset Register checks and reconciliations. Complete all reporting requirements and schedules. Prepare or review quarter end reconciliations. Prepare or review the monthly Published NBV Report Provide information to Internal and External Auditors in relation to Fixed Asset queries. Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) policies. Prepare and maintain SOPs within area. Perform monthly reconciliation of Fixed Assets and GL set of books. Complete Fixed Asset Register month end and quarter end close processes and execute on quarter close tasks. Support new planning processes and systems such as Hyperion and Oracle, ensuring continued compliance with Internal Controls for Financial Reporting Provide accurate, timely and appropriate Management accounts to support the effective monitoring and improvement target setting of the Manufacturing activities. Analyze and report, monthly or as required, the manufacturing data and take the lead to incorporate automated processes though technology tools like Tableau, Oracle, Hyperion, etc. Review the drivers of the business to help provide direction of the business on-going Develop and implement process improvements to enable more efficient and accurate processing and reporting of results to tight deadlines, through the various technology tools. Monitor and control the capital investments throughout the Manufacturing site. Interface with the broader CooperVision finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of results in line with requirements for consolidation into the overall business results process. Publish Monthly Manufacturing KPI To perform any other duties as required CooperVision's management team is committed to the development of and implementation of the quality management system and maintaining its effectiveness by communicating to the organization the importance of meeting customer as well as statutory and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Work closely with Manufacturing Operations, Regional and Corporate management to ensure Operations Finance is a "Trusted Business Partner". Direct, hands-on experience in creating, tracking, and controlling actual, forecasts and budget metrics. A strategic mindset to challenge the norm and to drive an effective Operations Finance function in an efficient work environment. Proven ability to analyze actual vs. plan results and summarize underlying drivers of variances as well as providing clear and succinct interpretation of results to management. Broad technical accounting expertise, including good working knowledge of US GAAP & SOX. Background on technology tools and ERP Systems like Hyperion, Oracle, Tableau, and others. Ability to participate in multi-cultural, multi-linguistic operating environment. Fully bilingual  Strong oral and written communication skills  Teamwork and service oriented; Effective leadership Natural leadership with strong communication skills at all levels Negotiator, able to build and present postures positively. Self-initiative and highly responsible person Work Environment: This role is based in a normal office environment. Travel will form a necessary part of this role, approximately 20% Multi-cultural environment, with global interactions Must be prepared to work extended hours on occasion Works with a personal computer and programs to prepare documents or reports. Applies communication skills (advanced reading, writing, and technical skills) and mathematical concepts knowledge to perform work and coordinate with others. Needs to have high analytical capacity and level of professionalism and judgement to resolve problems. Experience: Five years of relevant experience in a similar position. Experience in US multi-national company and Matrix style organization. Strong exposure and use of ERP system, Hyperion, Microsoft Audit experience is a plus.  PROCOMER and Fixed Asset Management Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field. Master´s degree is a plus. CPA, CMA desirable.
