Our Operations team leverages our PPI (Practical Process Improvement Business System) to manufacture and produce these products and continuously improve productivity and quality all while contributing to our Mission - to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.KEY RESPONSABILITIES- Lead strategic and tactical sourcing activities with spend above $1MM across multiple categories and high degree of complexity.- Manage contract lifecycle process (including uploading contracts, developing standard templates and monitoring / tracking expiry)- Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms for assigned spend categories- Research potential vendors, develop and execute RFP for spend above $1MM.- Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation is translated to RFP and contracts as appropriate.- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking to inform sourcing decisions.- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing delivering and record annual P&L savings.- Support projects assigned for various sourcing activities.- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sourcing generalists on category-specific requirements.FUNCTIONAL & TECHNICAL SKILLS- Excellent category-specific sourcing and category management skills in key portfolios of Indirect Spend (Professional Services (Legal/Marketing/HR), IT Products (Software & Hardware), Facilities Management).- Expert understanding of multi-step strategic sourcing processes and strategies.- Experience negotiating agreements/contracts with suppliers.- Sourcing expert - strong experience with sourcing process, supplier management, contract negotiations and procure to pay operations.- Experience with ERP systems, spend analytics, eSourcing, and contract management systems required.Understanding of procurement processes, tools and best practices.LEADERSHIP & BEHAVIORAL- Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment - self-starter who looks for ways to improve existing processes.- Strong customer service orientation, keen to deliver on internal customer needs.- Desire to mentor and coach junior team members.- Analytical thinker who makes decisions using data and insights - will need to prepare analysis to develop sourcing strategy / scenarios / savings.EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS- 8+ years of procurement experience within Indirect categories (Professional Services (Legal/Marketing/HR), IT Products (Software & Hardware), Facilities Management).- Proven working experience as purchasing manager, agent or officer- Degree in supply chain management, operations or business administration (nice to have)- High level of English language competency (verbal and written)
