The management aspects include career planning, goal setting, performance assessment, coaching, performance improvement, compensation, conflict resolution, and other people management tasks.- Drive day-to-day delivery, development, test, coordination, and support activities in a larger, global engineering organization.- Determining system specifications and analyzing test stage data prior to software installation.- Take complete ownership and persevere in cross team product delivery goals.- Keeping abreast of new software technologies, as well as conforming to best practices in cybersecurity.- Resolving software deployment and integration errors, and documenting processes.- Mentor and develop engineers.**ABOUT YOU****Qualifications**- Minimum of 6 years of software development management experience in a product delivery organization leading team of eight employees or more.- Excellent organizational, communication, estimation, and planning skills- Ideally experienced in one of the following programming languages: Java, C#, or Javascript w/ Node\Angular.- Ideally experienced in DevOps, CI\CD, and development of automation tools in a native cloud environment.- Extensive experience in developing, deploying, and integrating software solutions.- Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.- Ability to keep up with software industry trends and innovation.- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.- Strong mentoring, supervisory and team building skills.- Understanding of integration with open source technologies.- Understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine, OpenStack).- Knowledge of web services (REST, Web Sockets), Single Page Applications (SPA), SQL and No-SQL Databases.- Experience with Atlassian a plus (Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket).- BSEE/BSCS or equivalent experience.We require all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, where legally permissible if their work requires them to come into a Wind River office or come into close contact with others.
