Far Corners Community Musical Theatre is looking for a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as Graphic Designers for the Costa Rica Theatre Camp, an immersive summer theatre program focused on youth in the Monteverde community. The Graphic Designer will support our work in the months leading up to our 2024 Summer Camp.**Position**:Graphic Designer (Remote, Hourly)**Remuneration**:$8-15 per hour (depending on experience)**About the Program**:Costa Rica Theatre Camp is an established 8-week summer program celebrating its seventeenth year. The program centers on producing a musical involving local Monteverde performers, with a dedicated production staff of college-aged interns from the U.S. and Costa Rica. The aim is to provide a top-tier educational experience, fostering artistic and personal development among participants.**Required Qualifications**:- High school graduate with at least one year of college, or equivalent work experience- Experience in photography and videography- Superior writing skills- Graphic Design skills preferred- Proficiency in computer and web skills- Some written Spanish skills would be a plus- Flexibility, patience, and maturity- Leadership experience- Excellent creative problem-solving skills- Attention to detail- Strong ability to give and receive constructive criticism- High level of self-awareness**Graphic Designer Responsibilities**:- Collaborate with Directors on design projects- Develop posters, announcements, and other graphic designs- Create, edit, and manage website and blog content- Curate social media accounts- Willingness to learn some Spanish (proficiency not required)- Meet deadlines and provide revisions to designs as needed- Maintain thorough digital records**Remuneration**:- Hourly pay ranging from $8-15 per hour, based on experience and skills**How To Apply**:**Deadline**:Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until position is filled.**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary, Internship, New-GradContract length: 8 weeksApplication Deadline: 24/03/2024Expected Start Date: 05/06/2024
