**Location**:Cartago, Costa Rica, CR**Job Family**: Supply & Logistics**Country/Region**: Costa Rica**Job Function Summary**:This position will take procurement responsibilities within both direct and indirect categories, lead interactions with external suppliers and become a valued business partner to internal stakeholders who are responsible for managing at our factory in Costa Rica. The individual will ensure that business requirements are well defined, design optimum solutions for a diverse range of requirements, and ensure that suppliers are approved appropriately and in compliance with established Coloplast procedures.A supportive, entrepreneurial, hands-on and problem-solving approach is expected, as will be in a close alignment with the site's key leaders including site VP.**Major Areas of Accountability**:Support procurement strategies and guidelines in a disciplined well thought out processConduct the necessary spend analysis and market surveys, and work towards lowering the TCO of your assigned area of responsibility through process improvements, strategic sourcing and elimination of wasteManage and lead the supplier selection process and align supplier selection with the category strategyFacilitate with a challenging attitude the development of Statements of Work and contractual language that memorializes understandings and agreements with external partners.
