About the role:
Technician that supports engineers in the timely research, design, and development of products such as implantable pulse generators, implantable leads, implantable electrodes, surgical tools, accessories, external chargers, remote controls, and trial stimulators. Follows established quality system and procedures during product development. Creatively works to develop products with the highest quality and reliability possible. Provides guidance to other support personnel such as technicians.
What we are looking for:
:Technical Degree Electrical, Electronic or related field.
:Academical Degree Desirable: Electrical/Electronic or Computer Engineering (50 University degree)
:PCB repair and PCB soldering skills Professional and/or academic experience with C/C++ programming languages.
:Technical Competency Desirable
:Scripting languages, PHP and/or Python. Knowledge in firmware for a variety of 8,16,32 bit processors and microcontrollers in C/C++ and assembly language.
:English level 70:70
Your responsabilities are:
:Hands:on, action:oriented, with good experimental work habits.
:Good interaction w/other team members in the development prototype devices.
:Works from detailed schematics from R and D engineering staff.
:Procures the necessary components for the task defined.
:Efficiently and effectively build, test, and document work.
:Fabricate working prototypes using processes such as resistance welding, laser welding, adhesive bonding, ultrasonic welding, etc.
:Efficiently and effectively debug prototype device/system performance.
:Adhere to any applicable test documents, test plans, or standards.
:Assure testing is completed with calibrated equipment where applicable.
:Maintain the engineering labs including but not limited to supplies, equipment, organization, cleanliness, and safety.
