ArcSight provides the industry's only vendor-neutral solution for real time intelligent identification, prioritization and network response to external security attacks, insider threats and compliance breaches.**About this Position**ArcSight is looking for a User Experience Designer who is skilled in researching, designing concepts, low and high fidelity interactive mock ups that optimise the structure and behaviour of screen- based, software solutions. As a UX designer, you'll rely on user-centred design principles and research methodologies to produce high-quality visuals—from concept to execution—across many platforms for the mutual benefit of both user and business. Working in a cross-discipline agile software development team, you contribute a high level of excellence through shared tools, standard processes, team collaboration and iterative improvement. As well as a meaningful career with the opportunity to really develop and display your skills and ideas, you will also receive support, progression, training and development.**Responsibilities**- Communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale effectively in a cross-functional product development team.- Work closely and collaborate with engineering, product management, and research and development teams to provide the optimal design solution.- Contribute to research methods for exploration and validation of design solutions.- Create the user experience at various stages of the design process including flow diagrams, wireframes, storyboards, static and interactive mock-ups both low and High fidelity.- Push creativity, challenge established thinking, and discover new ways of approaching and solving a problem.- Design holistic, high-quality interactive and interface design solutions for moderate to complex projects, products, and services.- Represent the UX design team for all phases of larger and more-complex development and design projects and programs.**_ Education and Experience Required: _**- BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, CS related field or equivalent practical experience- 3 + years of relevant industry experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, or similar design-related role- Strong skills and experience working with tools and technologies like Figma, XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figjam, Miro, Dovetail, Maze, CSS, HTML5.- Experience with design for complex workflows and designing products from scratch as well as improving established, mature products- Familiarity with Agile SCRUM development methodologies- Experience with data driven design practices- Strong analytical and problem solving skills- Advanced English Level**Preferred Skills (Plus)**:- Expertise in web user interface design and development- Enterprise design experience- Data visualization- Cyber Security domain knowledge**Behavioural Skills**:- Ability to seek and receive feedback- Curiosity and persistence to learn- Ability to handle multiple priorities on tight deadlines maintaining a high standard and consistent qualityLI-GM1**Job**:Engineering**Micro Focus is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
