Ux/Ui Designer

Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities Define structure and user flow for digital user interfaces including embedded software, mobile apps, and other screens; Create UI Design, UI components, Visual Design elements as required Maintain a user-centric focus while creating visual designs and consistent design languages for digital and print components Explore emerging opportunity in the healthcare digital space, evaluate and evangelize as needed Work collaboratively and independently on a variety of tasks Present work for internal critique and client-facing presentations Communicate and collaborate with departments within the broader enterprise and assist on research efforts, co-creations, and other cross-departmental efforts Gather insights and test concepts with users in order to inform design decisions Advocate for user-centered research and design principles Reuse templates, patterns and design standards to solve problems Identify UX issues in designs, products and services Assist with training for peers and clients Supports the gathering and documenting of business requirements Understands and help to clarify business/technology problem Identifies and gathers non-functional requirements Actively participates in the adopted software methodology Actively participates in ensuring high quality solution and applies understanding of testing methodologies Performs all other related duties as assigned Candidate Profile 3-5 years of experience. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience Bachelor's degree in Graphic, Interactive or related Design or Computer Programming Degree Related professional work experience, including software design (SDLC), developing requirements, and/or experience working in or creating Design Systems and UI components for Digital Platforms Demonstrated User Experience (UX) Design (use case scenarios, system mapping, wireframes, digital prototyping, usability testing, etc.) Demonstrated Digital User Interface (UI) Design (presentation layer graphics, mobile app design, etc.) Experience with Graphic Design
