Here, you can apply your talent in bold ways that matter.Job Description:As Business Controller you will have the opportunity to collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world.Job descriptionBusiness Controller Emerging Market region (30% time) and Latam Process improvement lead (70% time)The impact you will make in this roleEnsure the accuracy of the Business Groups financial Statements (BPC & legacy), Balance Sheet, in Compliance with our Financial Standards, in Emerging Market countries with local operations (Costa Rica and Puerto Rico)Understand current business with a close interaction with Business Finance.Optimize and standardize Business Controllers key processes, leading Process improvement projects to help the team consistency and effectiveness, facilitating synergies among the Business Controller team.Lead change mindset providing leadership through organizational, process and systems transitions.Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance/ accounting, and minimum 5-year work experienceAbility to effectively communicate, collaborate and influence within Business Controllers team, Business Finance and RTR teams.Process end to end improvement mindset, Lean Six Sigma or other improvement process methodology knowledge is valuable.Ability to prioritize and execute with sense of urgency.Strong analytical skillsTeamwork skillsAdvanced user of Excel & queries extractionAdvanced written/spoken English. Other relevant informationBased in Costa RicaSupporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
