Descripción de la empresa"We're not in the shipping business; we're in the information business" -Peter Rose, Expeditors FounderGlobal supply chain management is what we do, but at the heart of Expeditors you will find professionalism, leadership, and a friendly environment, all of which foster an innovative, customer service-based approach to logistics.- 15,000 trained professionals- 250+ locations worldwide- Fortune 500- Globally unified systemsDescripción del empleoResponsible for the effective supervision and administration of the accounts receivable team to include performance management, employee relations, training, and assigning work and related activities**Key Responsibilities**:- Maintain relevant systems, collection calls, and invoice logs with status updates, follow-up details, promises to pay, and/or any other relevant information related to the collection effort.- Provide leadership, expertise, and guidance to the Accounts Receivable Analysts to enable them to provide timely and accurate services and responses to queries- Create reports and metrics to improve control of the processes and support management decisions.- Work disputes, investigate and initiate queries with customers in a timely manner to resolve unpaid balances, based on established KPIs and SLAs.- Assist with day-to-day AR cycle activities, hands-on approach.- Drive improvements initiatives for implemented processes- Lead local credit committee- Generate ad hoc reports and metrics and KPI to ensure department's goals are being achieved.- Proactively communicate with the team to ensure continuous awareness and understanding of policies and regulations.- Promote the company's 10 cultural attributes.**Requisitos**:- Bachelor's degree in accounting / Finance- 5+ years of proven Accounting/AR and Finance experience (preferable in finance shared services)- US GAAP experience (highly desirable).- Strong accounting skills- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel Formulas and Pivot Tables- Advanced English- Proven leadership attitude and skills- Ability to drive through change- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate with peers, anddirect reportsInformación adicionalExpeditors offers excellent benefits- Health Plan: Medical,- Employee Stock Purchase Plan- Training and Personnel Development ProgramAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
