Main Objective: Responsible to support the treasury, credit and collections function in Mexico and Costa Rica by ensuring and effective management of credit and collections, policies and procedures established to ensure an efficient and effective order to cash process and to build solid and productive long term relationships with our customers and distributors to minimize the Companys exposure and reduce risk. This position is also responsible for the management of the Companys cash position and to support the implementation of a sound, effective and efficient control environment in the Company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Treasury
:Liaison with the Global Business Services Center to ensure an efficient cash management process in compliance with Corporate and local policies, statutory requirements and ethical standards with unyielding integrity.
:Ensures proper bank accounts maintenance; updating users, accesses and customer information while maintaining a close relationship with all banking institutions.
:Cashflow management providing accurate and prompt information of the Company and acute;s cash position.
:Constant interaction with Global Treasury to ensure full adherence to corporate policies.
Accounts Receivable
:Manage the credit and collection team ensuring flawless execution according to Company and acute;s policies and procedures.
:Provide prompt and continuous monitoring of Companys exposure reducing the outstanding receivables as well as ensuring the right cash application and customer account reconciliation.
:Develop productive and sustained relationships with internal and external customers.
:Participate in the annual SOX process for the Company ensuring full compliance with corporate requirements.
:Maintain leading:edge knowledge of industry and internal control issues.
:Perform all reports and financial análisis pertaining his/her function
Requirements:
:University degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
:Professional designation in accounting/finance roles in international companies.
:Demonstrate strong financial and analytical skills at all levels of reporting.
:Ability to liaise and report with overseas regional office / HQ.
:Strongly knowledge of SAP and Excel.
:Full command of English language skills.
:Working knowledge of general office administration duties to establish and support work functions highly desirable.
:Demonstrate excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers at all levels displaying tact and diplomacy as required.
