Overview:We're seeking a Deal Management Specialist (Deal Desk) to collaborate with and support our Sales teams to deliver on non-standard low/medium complex quote requests within the Micro Focus guidelines. Join our global team of experts and grow your IT career with us.**Responsibilities**:- Oversee the handling of pending quotes and their approval as well as reviewing and analyzing said quotes and submitting them for approval to stakeholders.- Offer insight to the AMS Sales team concerning which documentation is needed to accept customers' orders and ensure they are sent for booking.- Act as a medium between customers, business units, sales population, rev rec, legal, regional management, order fulfillment, local financial management, and general management for non-standard/low/medium complex deals.- Maintain current and comprehensive knowledge of Micro Focus and general business policies (approval matrix, IFRS revenue recognition, etc.).- Support all departments participating in Micro Focus' sales plans with sales commission calculations and payments on a case-by-case basis.- Provide insight on low/medium complexity proposals and contracts for software offerings that conform to Micro Focus guidelines and procedures.- Take ownership of the full quote approval process for non-standard/low/medium complex deals.- Communicate with and educate Software sales teams and standard/low/medium complex offerings (including standard contract terms & conditions and pricing).Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another related field or relevant experience.- At least 3 years of direct experience in the Software industry in a business-related function.- Proven success in drafting contracts.- Firm grasp of basic business software including Microsoft Office products.- Previous experience with Salesforce Lightening is preferred.- Deep understanding of business principles and accounting software concepts.- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to write compelling and accurate copy.- Professional fluency in both written and spoken English.
