Advance Degree may be required**:- ** Advance English and Spanish**:- ** Solid data analytics acumen**:- ** Advance Excel (VLookUp, Pivot, Data formula)**:- ** SAP or AS400 work experience**:**Accountabilities**:- ** Serve as primary Purchasing contact for the Supplier and develop long term relationships through constant communication including daily operational interaction and cadenced business reviews**:- ** Comprehensive ownership and efficient management of the purchase order life cycle (Review order exceptions, create POs, and ensure receipt)**:- ** Partner with Sourcing to deliver consistent messaging and feedback to Supplier partners including opportunities for Supply Chain improvements**:- ** Manage activities with Supplier portfolio to meet key metrics including Days Inventory On Hand, Service Level, Lead Time, Supply Chain Cost, etc.**:- ** Hold Supplier partners accountable for accurate information and timely resolution of open orders**:- ** Maintain purchasing system parameters for assigned Supplier portfolio (order minimums, order days, order cycle, etc.)**:- ** Review ongoing and potential service failures and take appropriate action including the placement of emergency purchase orders, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities with Supplier and Operations partners**:- ** Understand and communicate Supplier partner product supply constraints via Supplier backorder reports and manage the release of backordered products into the supply chain**:- ** Work closely with Manufacturing Plant Receiving, Warehouse, and Planning teams to expedite product into pickable locations and communicate potential disruptions.**:- ** Collaborate with Marketing / Sales Operations/ Sourcing on Disruptions, New business, Product Launch, and Conversions.**:**Core Responsibilities**:- ** Monitor and manage the daily raw material component requirements. Place Purchase Orders, PO confirmation and ASNs, manage lead times, and kan ban execution.**:- ** Manage and adhere to raw material inventory targets and excess and obsolete goals for the Presource manufacturing network. Execute daily/weekly inventory reviews, execute corrective actions, balance inventory across the network, and execute monthly Operational and Financial E&O processes.**:- ** Contingency planning for supply disruptions - manage vendor past due shipments, backorders, and discontinued products. Interface with the PRC committee to initiate substitutions. Verify vendor capability to support volume increases for substitution product.**:- ** Manage new Component set up / Component Discontinuations.**:- ** Support and collaborate with Supply Chain Manager to implement process improvements and component conversions.**:- ** Provide data/metrics to support supply chain improvement efforts.
