Our company, software development organization is looking for hiring a Junior Developer with the following requirements and knowledge:
Responsibilities:
• Review and understand current systems functionality.
• Design, develop and modify modules based on functional and system requirements following established standards.
• Be proactive by presenting ideas for improvements or new features.
• Perform basic testing methodologies using realistic scenarios during the QA phase.
• Assist with gathering requirements from users’ requests.
• Participate in peer-reviews of solutions designs and related code.
Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Good understanding of PHP or Java programming language.
• Solid understanding of object oriented programming concepts.
• Understand basic relational database concepts.
• Understand version control concepts.
• Have excellent communication skills, clearly articulate ideas and thoughts verbally.
• Seek and listen input from mentors and supervisors.
• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables.
• Self-motivated, well-organized and team player.
• Show interest and commitment with the support role.
• Show a positive attitude.
• Demonstrate flexibility in day-to-day work.
• Establish effective working relationship with users.
• Use good judgement in what and how to communicate with users.
• Understand the professional development process and becomes actively involved by setting challenging goals and meeting them through continuous learning.
• Comply with all of our policies and procedures.
