A successful FP&A manager for the Central Product Group will aid in the development and execution of high quality management reports, investment plans and operating model strategies to maximize the value of the business**Reporting Line**:AVP Finance Business Lead - CPG**Functional Responsibilities**- **Ensure close connection between operational actions and financial results and forecasts**Provide business management team with reporting, performance diagnostics and insights that highlight the impacts of operational decisions (e.g., hiring, pricing strategies, investments, etc) on financial performanceEnsure regular cadence of high-quality, timely, credible and insightful reporting related to key business driversLiaise with accounting and global business services functions to ensure management reporting is accurate and fit for decision-making- **Adapt corporate financial planning cycles to business operating cycles**Balance support for quarterly and annual planning cycles with transparent, rolling, interactive financial models that enable executive-level investment decision-making (e.g., go/no-go on multi-phased investment) as well as variable adjustments to financial forecasts (e.g., sales outperformance/COGS) on an ongoing basisDevelop cost efficiency strategies to ensure maximum allocation of capital towards investment and/or improved business margins- **People management**Attract, train, retain top talent in Finance department.Influence, motivate and collaborate with other Finance team members, in support of cross-functional business initiatives and to ensure streamlining of finance business support processesProvide active leadership to both the finance and business teams, developing and championing excellence and change processes (people process systems)**Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:- Proactive, strategic thinker- Strong analytical and project management skills- Superior problem solving skills with ability to communicate effectively with executive management- Must be detail oriented, ensuring accuracy and quality of reporting and other deliverables- Excellent interpersonal and people management skills- Ability to provide constructive and robust challenge to business management- Ability to work effectively with other functional areas to understand the operational and cultural issues relevant to achieving superior results- Hyper client focused with tenacity to resolve issues and conflicts- High energy individual with enthusiasm for business partnering with multiple stakeholders- Ability to work in a dual reporting matrix environment- Ability to work with key stakeholders across time zones**Qualifications and Experience**- 5+ years in business strategy or finance role- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or engineeringFinanceFor San Francisco positions, qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered for employment consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.This position may be considered a promotional opportunity, pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.Click here to view our full EEO policy statement.
