Serves as escalation path and advisor for purchasing issues. Teams with process partners to ensure alignment of goals, strategies, and initiatives.Key Areas of Responsibility:- Ensure strategic and tactical purchasing activity is completed accurately, timely, and is aligned to support the supply plan and inventory targets.- Ensure team actively participates in key operational meetings (ie MDI) with assigned manufacturing sites, and proactively provides information on purchase order status and assigned actions.- Provide input and influence development of KPIs, ensuring that KPIs are aligned with strategic objectives.- Manage and communicate KPI performance and initiate and lead cross-functional improvement actions where necessary.- Actively influence key stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment of expectations and performance.- Demonstrates understanding of the industry and macroeconomic conditions.- Foster a continuous improvement culture that delivers measurable results.- Attract, retain and develop the best talent, set objectives and performance goals, optimize team structure to accomplish goals, and ensure employee engagement across the site.- Influence the organization across departments to drive standardization and simplification, and support initiatives in line with Purchasing strategy.- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including ISO13485/9001 and EU MDR, and support audits as necessary.- Perform additional duties as assigned.**What you need**:Professional Requirements Required:- Bachelor's degree in Business/Supply Chain Management/Engineering or similar field is preferred.- English language. Second language preferred, depending on global location and assigned supplier and customer groups.**Background Experience Required**:- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, or related field, including at least 3 years in management roles.- Knowledge of MRP-ERP business systems.
