Medtronic walks the walk, creating an inclusive culture where you can thrive.To learn more about Inclusion & Diversity at Medtronic Click Here**A Day in the Life**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.**- **Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may work out of a central warehouse.**:- **Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting.**:- **Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements.**:- **Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment.**:- **(un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.**:- **Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.**:- **To prepare the material for the workstations for the different manufacturing processes, to support the Material Handler team.**:- **(un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.**:- **Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.**:- **Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment.**:- **(un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.**:- **Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations****Must Have: Minimum Requirements- **2+ years of experience required.**:- **Required vocational or technical education or certification in Logistics technician.**:- **High School Diploma or equivalent.**:- **Technical education or certification in Logistics and Inventory or Data Analysis Technician is preferable.**:- **Excellent communication skills.**:- **Requires special equipment license (forklift).**:- **Night shift availability.****Nice to Have**- **Experience in supply chain and/or inventory management.**:- **SAP experience highly desired.**:- **Analytical and problem-solving skills.**:- **Logistics with a medical device or related business.**:- **Strategic thinking.****About Medtronic****Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
